Modern LCD televisions have an impressive range of features, despite the recent emergence of HDTV-related functions, taking center stage. While the features associated with HDTV can make or break an LCD TV, do not stand alone: the venerable PIP, reverse 3:2 pull down, and very technical aspects of the technology involved, such as 3D Y / C digital comb filter work together to currently the best viewing experience possible.

A reverse 3:2 pulldown is required for anyone planning to use older technology, 24 frames per second with 30 frames per second, LCD TV. Without modern technology to reverse the 3:2 pulldown, everything that was not designed to present to 30 frames per second would quickly become distorted or appear to move on the screen of an LCD TV. If one has ever looked at a new transmission in which the old CRT monitors or TVs are visible in the background with have seen the strange distortion of what should be a clear picture. This is caused by an imbalance between the rate of acquisition of the video camera and that of the display. Although it is not possible to correct problems like this that are actually part of the video, it is possible that this effect must be removed or at least strongly attenuated on LCD TVs to ensure that everything runs at a smooth and even 30 frames per second.
Advanced features of visual presentation as 3D Y / C digital comb filters separate different colors in different data streams. The results of separation in the analysis easier and faster for each of the scan lines before they are displayed, which translates effectively to produce amazing picture. Advanced technology for color separation as the 3D Y / C digital comb filter also allows for individual color to correct a lot easier. Not all display technologies are equal, and manufacturers often need to change the data required for screen LCD TV in order to ensure proper presentation.
Of course, HDTV is the big buzz word in modern parlance LCD TV. Different resolutions, such as 1080i or 720p indicates not only the amount of pixels (colored dots), an LCD TV is, but even if these pixels are refreshed one half at a time is as in the case of interlaced (i) systems or in a single time, as is the case with progressive scan (p) models.
Last but not least, do not forget the connectors. The best LCD TV technology is nothing without the input of high-quality digital display.

You may see the technology NeoPDP new Panasonic plasma TV advertised on TV. According to Panasonic, which takes a flat screen TV to the next level.
But what really means? What’s in it for you? Not only is the new Panasonic technology NeoPDP providing better contrast levels, but high definition televisions that use it are brighter, sharper display images and give more than a nod to eco-compatibility.
NeoPDP Panasonic technology also allows to build its new Viera HD TV models that are barely an inch thick. This will allow the plasma to remain competitive against the newer breed of super-thin LCD, LED, and, ultimately, OLED TVs.
There are many advantages over traditional technology NeoPDP plasma panels on sale today.
A modern plasma display panel (PDP) typically consists of gas-filled cells that are enclosed between two panes of glass. When the TV is on, this gas is electrically charged. The resulting plasma which excites phosphors is produced in cells, which then emit light.
Panasonic NeoPDP technology improves the process. Thanks to a newly developed gas, televisions NeoPDP are much brighter and boast an incredible dynamic contrast ratio of over 2,000,000:1. According to the engineers at Panasonic, NeoPDP offer deeper black tones and significantly improved the white balance. The end result? More images vivid and realistic, if you’re watching a movie or TV set.
