Although this technology comes with a name very dear price, LCD LED still arousing interest among fans of the television. Pioneer brands have emerged with their own models, but two brands seem to be more competitive – the Samsung A950 LCD and LED Sony XBR8 Series.

However, they differ not only in price but also the technology of LED backlighting used. Although all three uses hundreds of LEDs positioned behind the screen, Sony uses a three-color LED set-up, while LG and Samsung use white LEDs on their screens.
Sony three-color LED system is coined as Sony Triluminous Technology, which is powered by a blue LED and two green. Sony says that this technology will improve the purity of color images. This perhaps could be a reason for their more expensive price tag.
So that the LED technology is better? And ‘white light LED backlight Samsung or three color technology from Sony?
As the LED technology is technically fairly new LCD TV, wants to improve remains to be done over the years to come. Not that this is not the right time to buy an LCD TV LED, but if you want to consider things carefully and do not realize that your needs can be met in a less expensive model, you’ll see that it would achieve more rational a model more accessible.
But then again, everything will depend on your needs for a good LED LCD HDTV. If the technology Triluminous Sony seems more and if you have the budget for it, then go buy it. But if you are considering saving money in 2000-3000, to opt for the Samsung one and you will still get a single LED LCD HDTV. After all, it’s Samsung, you can be sure that you will get what is best.
